Ho Chi Minh City:Vietjet today launched its newest international route connecting Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) with Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). The inaugural flight coded VJ825 received a warm welcome by people and senior leaders from the governments of Malaysia and Vietnam respectively. Among them were Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung and senior leaders from Ministry of Transport of Malaysia and Vietnam.
Passengers on the inaugural flight from Kuala Lumpur to Ho Chi Minh City also enjoyed Malaysia’s traditional dances performed by Vietjet’s dancers, experienced Hala food served on board and got special gifts from Vietjet’s flight attendants.
The Ho Chi Minh City – Kuala Lumpur route is operated on a daily basic. Flying time per sector is about one hour and 55 minutes.
Vietjet is the first airline in Vietnam to operate as a new-age airline with low-cost and diversified services to meet customers’ demands.
Currently, the airline boasts a fleet of 36 aircraft, including A320s and A321s, and operates 250 flights each day. It has already opened 50 routes in Vietnam and across the region to international destinations such as Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, China and Myanmar.
