    PROMED, The Council for the International Promotion of Costa Rica Medicine announces the 2012 Medical Travel Summit to be held April 23-25, 2012 in San Jose, Costa Rica. The Summit will be held at the well-appointed Real Intercontinental Hotel in Escazu, Costa Rica, close to excellent shopping, nightlife and a variety of local and international dining options. Considered to be one of the most attractive global destinations for medical tourism, the nation of Costa Rica, the Costa Rica Tourism Board and PROMED are proud to host the third annual Medical Travel Summit in the capital city of San Jose. The 2011 Medical Travel Summit was attended by more than 500 people, representing 15 nations from Latin America, North America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. The 2012 Medical Travel Summit is expected to break previous attendance records, and promises to be one of the most valuable medical tourism events of 2012. Early registration for the 2012 Medical Travel Summit is open through December 31, 2011. Early Bird Registration pricing is $300.00 per person for PROMED members and $350.00 per person for non-members.
