    Kathmandu: The 3rd edition of Himalayan Travel Mart will be held on June 6-9 here with the theme and vision to establish Nepal as the “Gateway to the Himalayas”.

    As many as 700 delegates from 41 countries will participate in the three-day mart including 140 international guests.

    Similarly, a total of 38 travel bloggers and media delegates will attend the International Travel Bloggers and Media Conference (ITMBC) to be held during HTM.

    Buyers and sellers of different countries will promote their business for two days during the Himalayan Travel Mart.

    The Business to Business (B2B) mart offers a unique platform for marketing and promotion of tourism products and services.

    Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ghanshyam Upadhyaya, Chairperson of PATA Nepal Chapter Sunil Shakya, and CEO of Nepal Tourism Board Deepak Raj Joshi threw light on HTM -3 in a press conference organized here on Monday.

    PATA Nepal Chapter is organizing the mart  in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Nepal Tourism Board, PATA International, Nepal Airlines Corporation and other tourism associations.

    The first two editions of HTM in the year 2017 and 2018 attracted the participation of 225 foreign delegates from 53 different countries and 170 foreign delegates from 36 countries respectively.

    The Himalayan Travel Mart has been established as a major international travel trade show to promote and showcase Nepal’s tourism products.
