Nepal participated in OTM, TTF Mumbai, 2013

Kathmandu: Nepal participated in India’s largest international Travel and Trade Fair (TTF) held in Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai from 8 to 10 February 2013.
Participated by over 900 exhibitors from 26 countries, Nepal was one of the feature countries along with Canada, Philippines, Maldives, Egypt, Macau, Indonesia and Russia. Other countries in the fair were Bhutan, China, Dubai, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey and USA.
According to NTB, Nepal featured its pavilion with colorful graphics with special focus on pilgrimage and soft adventure for Indian visitors. A lot of visitors during the fair enquired about the Lord Pasupatinath Temple, Manakamana, Muktinath and other holy places. The younger visitors were more enthusiastic about soft adventure like trekking and leisure.
Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) distributed its promotional collaterals such as traveler’s information, adventure attraction brochures, national parks, pilgrimage sites, posters on Pasupatinath Temple, Bhaktapur, Janaki Temple, Rara Lake, Mt. Everest, information and religious DVDs, and typical nepali souvenirs.
A major attraction, the leading brands of the global cruising industry showcased its products and services under its Cruise Hub. Star cruises, Norwegian Cruise line, MSC cruises, Silver sea, Holland America Line, Sea bourn Cruises, Windstar, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity cruises, Azamara Club Cruise and Costa Cruises formed their hub.
Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) represented by Dhruba Rai, Sr. Manager and Suman Ghimire, Officer along with its nine private trade participants viz. Abhiwadan Holidays, Dharma Holidays, Eco Treks Nepal, Fishtail Tours & Travels, Life & Journey Tours & Adventure, Ojha Holidays Tours & Treks, Samrat Tours & Travels, Scenic Mountain Travels & Tours and Explore Kailash Treks.
