Nepal to resume international, domestic flights from August 17

Nepal government has decided to resume domestic and international commercial flights from August 17 to revive coronavirus-hit tourism sector.
The airlines will have to abide by the safety protocols for airport management, flight operators and passengers to operate commercial flights.
The domestic and international flights were suspended from second week of March this year in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Likewise, the government has also decided to resume public transport service in the country.
The domestic airlines operating in Nepal are – Buddha Air, Nepal Airlines, Saurya Airlines, Shree Airlines, Simrik Airlines, Sita Air, Summit Air, Tara Air and Yeti Air.
Similarly, the international airlines operating in Nepal are – Air Arabia, Air China, Air India, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Buddha Air, Cathay Dragon, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Fly Dubai, Druk Air (Royal Bhutan Airlines), Etihad Airways, Himalaya Airlines, IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation), Jazeera Airways, Korean Air, Malaysia Airlines, Malindo Air, Nepal Airlines, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, Salam Air, Sichuan Airlines, Silk Air (Singapore), Spice Jet, Tashi Air (Bhutan Airlines), Vistara (TATA SIA Airlines), Thai Airways International, Thai Lion Air, Tibet Airlines, and Turkish Airlines.
