THAI Smile’s new attendants

Bangkok, Jan.25: President of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) Piyasvasti Amranand recently presided over the selection of THAI Smile’s first group of female flight attendants at the EDEN zone of in Central World Shopping plaza.
Mr. Amranand said that Thai Airways International now has a sub-brand called THAI Smile, which is a business unit that offers customers Premium Light flight services on short routes. The THAI Smile brand character is Trendy-Friendly-Worthy, which is reflective of the life-style of new generation travelers who place importance on having more choices and value for money. THAI Smile passengers can expect meal service, baggage allowance of 20 kilograms, and collect miles on the Royal Orchid Plus program.
THAI Smile will offer routes mainly to region cities, to China, and to India, with tickets going on sale in April 2012.
For this selection round of THAI Smile flight attendants, THAI extends its great appreciation to Central World for hosting the venue. It is an exciting time for THAI and THAI Smile, selection the first generation of flight attendants who will represent the brand character. Part of the selection activity included “In Search of the Smart Crew for THAI Smile” that allowed candidates to demonstrate their abilities.
This selection program is the first step in the recruitment process, which continues into February for the interviews and services training in April-May 2012 for the Smart Crew selection. The Smart Crew can be seen on board THAI Smile starting in July 2012.
