    Ulrich Hoffgen appointed new GM for Centara Ras Fushi Resort and Spa Maldives

    Male :  Thirayuth Chirathivat, Chief Executive Officer of Centara Hotels&Resorts, has announced the appointment of Ulrich Hoffgen as General Manager of Centara Ras Fushi Resort&Spa Maldives.

    Ulrich is a German national and has 20 years of international hospitality industry experience gained from working in Europe, Oceania, and Asia, including management roles at leading resorts and hotels in Asia and the Maldives.

    He worked at Irufushi Beach&Spa Resort as F&B Director before joining Constance Halaveli Resort Maldives in the position of Executive Assistant Manager in 2009, where he was soon promoted to Resident Manager.

    He was working at Constance Halaveli for three years as Resident Manager prior joining Centara Hotels&Resorts to head up the team at Centara Ras Fushi Resort&Spa Maldives as General Manager.

    Centara Ras Fushi Resort&Spa is set on an island just over 15 minutes away from Male’ International Airport by speedboat. The resort is adult-focused with 140 villas located ocean-side or set above the lagoon. Leisure facilities feature the oceanfront Spa Cenvaree with its nine treatment suites, a fitness center, a large free-form swimming pool with dedicated pool bar, an E-Zone with electronic games, and complimentary Wi-Fi access.
