Chinese photographer Su Xue felicitated for promotion of Nepal

Kathmandu: The renowned photographer of China Su Xue was felicitated by National Tourism Federation Nepal (NATOFEN) amidst a ceremony here on the occasion of World Tourism Day 2013.
Prof. Su Xue is said to be one of the top ten Chinese digital photographer and signed photographer of Chinese National Geography.
Su Xue was felicitated for his contributions in campaign “Pictorial Nepal -Promotion in China” and Om Prakash Yadav was honored by “Nepal in Camera Award” at the program jointly organized by Nepal Tourism Board and NATOFEN.
“The people of China are very much interested to visit Nepal, birth place of Buddha and a country with magnificent Himalayas. My several photographs on natural beauty, culture, socio-economic life of Nepal has inspired Chinese travelers to visit this beautiful country ,” Prof. Su Xue said.
Su Xue has captured hundreds of photographs during his 12 visits to Nepal.
On the occasion, Leela Mani Poudyal ,Chief Secretary of the Nepal Government, presented letter of appreciation to the renowned photographer Su Xue.
He underlined the need to promote Nepal in China and provide quality services to visitors from China.
Acting CEO of Nepal Tourism Board Subhas Niraula, newly elected President of Trekking Agents Association of Nepal (TAAN) Ramesh Dhamala , President of NATOFEN Jyoti Adhikari ,General Secretary of NATOFEN Tilak Lama, Managing Director of Adventure Outdoor Excursion Dr. Kalyan Raj Sharma emphasized on planned promotional campaigns to attract Chinese visitors to Nepal.
